MADISONVILLE WHARF

We welcome you to the Madisonville Wharf. In order to make your stay pleasant and to be considerate of others, the following rules for the Madisonville Wharf have been established.

Per Ordinance 7-3

1. Boats may dock for short periods of time at no cost.
2. Any vessel moored overnight or using shore power must register at teh Madisonville Town Hall and pay a $10.00 fee per day (maximum 2 days - 48 hours) at the 403 St. Francis St between the hours of 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. Monday through Friday.  Nighttime and weekend registration may be made by submitting the form below electronically or printing it out and dropping it in the night drop slot.  Write boat name and description on check or money order before dropping it in the slot.
3. The Mayor or his designee may grant additional days. Requests must be made in advance in person at the Town Hall.
4. Any vessel with mechanical or other problems must also register and provide information on needed repairs and time to competion.
5. Any vessel failing to register will have 24 hour notice affixed to the vessel and/or a citation issued.  After 24 hours the vessel shall be removed by a salvage company and placed in storage at the owners expense.
6. No commercial enterprise may be conducted from teh madisonville Wharf.
7. No boats with For Sale signs displayed will be allowed to remain.
8. Any animmal leaving a vessel is required to be on a leash and its' waste removed.

All vessels mooring at the Madisonville Wharf and/or using shore power, do so at their own risk.
